Aaron Collins was born June 6th, 1990 in Baltimore, Maryland to Rose Collins a single mother at the time who had just went through her first divorce. Prior to Aaron’s birth his mother had one other child, a boy named Robert Lander Jr after his father. Aaron grew up a happy child though he could always tell his mother was unhappy in her life. By time Aaron his high school his mother was already heading into her second marriage that was slowly but surely failing.

Throughout grade school and middle school Aaron had the biggest crush on his best female friend. He finally got up the guts to ask her out near the end of their 8th grade year. The two of them were practically inseparable. They continued to see one another until a little bit after their high school graduation ceremony when she decided that she wanted to move out of state, try a college there and be close to her father and her older sister. Devastated, Aaron sunk into a deep depression but decided that he wanted to hold onto the hope that one day the two would be back in each other’s arms.

Though he doesn’t really have much of a past, seeing as he had only recently turned 18 he believes that what he learned in his youth and the experiences that he went through were just preparing him for the abundance of different things that can occur while he is out on his own. He was never afraid of growing up and being on his own because of this. After his girl moved he took up a second, part time job and saved back every bit of money he could so he could get out to Brooklyn to be with her again. Spending his entire summer working and filling out college applications for the Brooklyn area, he was determined to see her again.

Realizing that the money that he had saved up wasn’t going to be enough to start him out without having a place to stay, he spoke with his eldest brothers father when he came for a visit. They had plenty of time to talk while waiting to do a dna test between the two of them. He told him his plans of wanting to come to Brooklyn but never said it was to visit with a woman. He told him that he had wanted to be closer to his brother and wanted to go to college there. He even showed him the acceptance papers to the Brooklyn College where he planned on taking up Meteorology major. He had been interested in Meteorology since he was in junior high school, which is when he signed up to be a member of the The American Meteorological Society. After explaining to the man that he had already been accepted and had a full ride scholarship from being a member of the AMS he graciously opened his door to Aaron.

After Aaron learned that he was going to be a father his own father took off to South Carolina leaving so many unanswered questions and his young adults behind to wonder if they could succeed on their own. Aaron quickly saved up money to get a respectful car and took up residence with his now girlfriend, her father, his girlfriend, their daughter together and periodically his son in a spacious three bedroom apartment. Aaron knew that his job wasn't going to cut it, especially while working through college and planning on the birth of his own child. Shortly after moving to the New York area with his girlfriends family they decided to all head out to Massachusetts leaving Aaron to stay behind and get a place of their own. Traveling back and forth between Mass and New York took a lot out on Aaron and nearly killed his spirit but he was desperate to make things work between his now very pregnant girlfriend and himself.
